View looking northerly along I-75 through the Milwaukee Road underpass.  Hamtramck is the site of one of General Motors' principal assembly plants.  The factory was constructed in 1985, at the time a state-of-the-art facility.  The complex produces large body Buick and Cadillac models.

I know I have noted this before on other website pages, but Metro Detroit has a superb traffic management network.  CMS' are posted often and show very reliable and up-to-date congestion and condition information.

View looking northerly as 8-Mile Road passes overtop of I-75.  A haunch-girder bridge carries the mainline M-102 lanes overtop of the interchange and its traffic signals.  This design is used in a few locations across Metro Detroit.
