Township of Leeds and the Thousand Islands County of Leeds & Grenville |
View looking northerly from Hill Island towards the north suspension bridge
that carries Highway 137 overtop of the Saint Lawrence River from mainland
Ontario onto Hill Island. The International boundary divides Hill
Island in half, half in Ontario, half in New York State. South of the
border, Highway 137 becomes Interstate 81. Photo taken: October 2008. |

Northbound butterfly gantry for the ramp the Thousand Islands Parkway East.
Notice the left sign is a reassurance marker directing traffic to Highway
401 instead of being an advanced sign for the ramp to the Thousand Islands
Parkway westbound. Photographed by: Josh Anderchek. Taken: August 11th, 2007. |

This picture shows much of the Highway 137 interchange with the Thousand Islands Parkway. Before Highway 401 bypassed the Thousand Islands Parkway, Highway 137 would have ended here at a 'halfclo' interchange. Presently the interchange is a 5-ramp-Parclo-AB3.

The exit signage for the trumpet
interchange with Highway 401. Highway 137 ends at Highway 401.
The right lane leads to Montreal and Ottawa via Highway 416. The 2
left lanes narrow into one about 500 metres ahead, and join the westbound
401. |
