Easterly view from the Don Mills Road overpass towards the closed ramp from the southbound 404 to the westbound 401 Express. This ramp re-opened late December, 2013. As a consequence of the ramp from the 404 to the westbound express lanes was that the collector lanes saw an increased volume of traffic and were often congested.

Contract #2013-2014 Highway 401 Eastbound Collector Rehabilitation - Dufferin Street to Avenue Road

Eastbound collector lane signage at the Allen Road off-ramp. As part of the highway reconstruction, a third eastbound lane is being pushed through the Allen Road interchange.	Easterly view as the collector lanes pass beneath the ramp from Allen Road northbound to the eastbound express lanes of the 401. Most of the highway's shoulders are being sacrificed to construct the third lane.	A first generation COMPASS sign stands at the on-ramp from Bathurst Street. An OPP officer is parked on the outside shoulder of the highway just east of the Avenue Road overpass.	The North York City Centre Skyline is visible from the Avenue Road overpass.
