Highway 503 was downloaded in its entirety on January 1st, 1998 like all other Ontario Secondary Highways located in Counties or Regions in Southern Ontario.

  Western Terminus:

Eastern Terminus:  Highway 503 ended in Tory Hill at the Highway 121 junction.  In 2003, Highway 121 east of Haliburton was re-designated as Highway 118.

Length:  116.8 km

Multiplexes:  There was a 200m multiplex with Highway 121 in Kinmount.  Highway 121 was also decommissioned.
