KING'S HIGHWAY NO. 2

1981

Looking east along westbound Highway 2/Gardiner Expressway towards the Jameson Avenue interchange in Toronto. Summer of 1981.
Partial view of some of the overpasses that compose the Jameson Avenune interchange. These overpasses are in a state of decay today. Fortunately, the City of Toronto has commenced a construction project to rehabilitate them in 2010. Summer of 1981.
This is actually the southbound DVP approaching its interchange with Highway 2. Not only do we get a shot of that awesome junction assembly to the right in this picture, we also get another example of some of the odd colours used by the City of Toronto on overhead signs on the DVP. Summer of 1981.
