King's Highway 78 - www.OntHighways.com
Highway 78 that was a short highway that ran from Highway 21 at Dresden to Highway 40 at Chatham. The highway, when connected to the east-west segment of Highway 21 between Dresden and Thamesville served as the major route across the northern portion of Chatham-Kent County (now the Municipality of Chatham-Kent). The highway was downloaded in its entirety on January 1, 1998, and is now known as Chatham-Kent Road 78. All but two of Chatham-Kent's highways (Highways 40 and 401) were transferred to local jurisdiction between 1997 and 1998.
