Township of Thessalon

District of Algoma

Highway 129 ends junction assembly located at the junction of Highways 17 and 17B.  These sign assembly was very obviously municipally erected.  The southern 900m of Highway 129 is actually a connecting link.  In this agreement, the community of Thessalon pays the MTO for the maintenance of Highway 129, however Thessalon is free to sign the route as they see fit.

Highway 129 looking north from the Snowshoe Creek bridge.  Much of the central section of Highway 129 is build to this standard.  Much of Highway 129 resembles a secondary highway instead of a primary, however, considering Highway 129's remoteness, and low traffic volumes, its condition is certainly acceptable.

District of Sudbury

Highway 129 looking south from about 4km south of the Highway 667 junction.  The terrain around highway 667 is fairly flat, and quite subdued, especially compared to the rugged terrain seen where 129 follows the Mississagi River.

District of Sudbury

Junction assembly for the western Highway 101/129 junction.  Oddly, at this junction, Highway 101 west towards Wawa is simply straight ahead.  To stay on Highway 129 towards Chapleau a right turn at the upcoming intersection is required.
