This portion of Stone Road is a former Highway 11 alignment that was
by-passed during the 1980s with the completion of the four lane highway
south of Callander.

The junction assembly for
Highway 94 at its southern terminus. Highway 94 ends at Secondary
Highway 654. Generally King's Highway's do not terminate at Secondary
Highway's, however I don't think the MTO cared to invest the money to
co-designate Highway 94 with Highway 654 for only a few hundred metres
between 11 and 94.

View looking northerly as Highway 94 crosses the Highway 11 overpass
south of North Bay. Notice the interesting vertical geometry of
this overpass. This long structure carries Highway 94 over both
Highway 11 and the CN Railway.

Highway 94 looking south
from the Highway 11 overpass on the bypass. Oddly, Highway 94 crosses
over Highway 11 east of Callander, but does not have an interchange.
This is likely do to the close proximity of a rail line near Highway 11,
and presumably also because of the local nature of Highway 94.
