Advance signage for Highway 2 and Sheppard Avenue along the westbound Highway 401 in Pickering. Much like the eastbound signage, no mention of Highway 2A exists in this sign. Also notice that the exit tab is an unusual white colour, and embedded within the main sign instead of on top of it. Summer of 1989.

Eastbound Highway 401 exit to Highways 35 and 115 in Clarington. With the exception of the "this lane ends" sign, and the funky downward pointing arrows, the setup of the gantry in the photo (1989) looks similar to how it exists today.
